Bux-Mont Baptist has resumed meeting for Sunday morning worship at 10 AM. Please make a specific note of these facility and safety considerations:
When meeting inside, church attendees are required to wear masks when not able to be socially distant. At a minimum for Bux-Mont, this will be when entering or leaving the church. Those wishing to not wear a mask are encouraged to participate by continuing to listen to the sermons online.
At this time, congregational singing will not be included as part of the morning worship if we are meeting indoors due to studies showing singing is a higher risk.
When sitting, we ask all families to cluster together and maintain 6 feet of separation from their neighbors.
The church will be disinfected each week after service. We will have plenty of hand-sanitizer available for services.
If you are in a high-risk category due to health or age, we trust you to make a wise decision for yourself and your family.
If you are sick or have symptoms of sickness please take the week off and stay home.
Offering plates will be made available but will not be passed. You are encouraged to mail your offering in if unable or uncomfortable to give in person
We know there are a lot of different opinions on COVID, masks, and the impact of both. However we are asking for mutual respect and the use of masks when we are indoors in the spirit of Romans 14:13-19 that says:
"Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean. For if your brother is grieved by what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. By what you eat, do not destroy the one for whom Christ died. So do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding."
We do not want to be stumbling blocks for each other and we want to pursue what makes peace and mutual upbuilding. If you have any concerns, or needs please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
